I remember driving home from a festival with my best friend Netta and listening to the song Nuori ja Kaunis (Young & Beautiful) by Anna Järvien and Olavi Uusivirta. We sang this song so loud and badly, haha!

Peachy tones or bright white.

8. Sunglasses or hats?

Sunglasses so no makeup is needed.

New potatoes with butter. Lots of butter. And grilled pineapple with mint sugar!

Day trip to Cap Ferret

Veneretki Chez Hortense ravintolaan on aina Ranskan matkan kohokohtia! Serkkujemme veneen nokka kohti vaan lahden toista puolta ja kohti herkkuja. Ravintola on ollut pystyssä ikuisuuden ja se on äärimmäisen suosittu ja tunnettu paikallisten keskuudessa. Varsinkin ravintolan sinisimpukat ja niihin liittyvä salainen resepti vetää asiakkaita puoleensa aina vuosi vuodelta. Meidän poppoon se on houkutellut sisään jo yli 20 vuoden ajan. Myös talon ranskalaiset ovat jotain niin jumalallista. Parasta ruokaa, jota olen koskaan missään syönyt. Vuoden makuelämys taas siis purkissa! Ensi vuotta jo odotellessa.

//Our traditional trip to Cap Ferret and Chez Hortense restaurant is always a highlight here! I love to go on the boat and enjoy the amazing view and food the place has to offer. The restaurant has been there for ages and we have been going there for over 20 years now. The food is simply the best food I have ever had anywhere. So fresh and so tasty. It's out of this world! I'm once again satisfied in my little taste buds for the entire year, haha.
