Puolitoista vuotta sitten tein teille postauksen meikkivoidetuotteesta nimeltä Lancôme Miracle Cushion. Olin silloin Kapkaupingissa kuvaamassa Nelly.comin mainoskampanjaa ja tämä pieni mukana kulkeva "meikkivoidetyyyny" oli aamujeni pelastaja, kun kuvauspäivät olivat aina 12-15h pitkiä. Pääset lukemaan postauksen tästä. Olin niin yllättynyt, miten nopeata meikkipohja oli tehdä tyynyn avulla, sekä miten raikkaana meikki pysyi koko pitkän päivän ajan. Siitä saakka on Miracle Cushion kulkenut mukanani varsinkin kuvauspäivien aikana ja työreissulla. Varsinkin täällä muotiviikkojen hälinässä kaikki nopeat ehostuskeinot tulevat kyllä tarpeen! Se löytyy myös toimistomme naistenvessasta pienestä "freessauskoristani". Ehdottomasti yksi luottotuotteeni.

Nyt Miracle Cushion on saanut seuraajan, nimittäin Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Cushionin! Ultra Cushion on edeltäjäänsä verrattuna peittävämpi sekä pidempikestoisempi. Miracle Cushionin lopputulos on äärimmäisen luonnollinen ja kuulas, kun taas uusi Ultra Cushion antaa iholle hieman peittävämmän samettisen ilmeen. Peittävyyden takia Ultra Cushionin avulla tehty meikkipohja on ihan ekstra nopea tehdä. Ihan muutama taputtelu ihoa vasten riittää, kun taas Miracle Cushionin kanssa piti meikkiä ehkä vähän kerrostaa jos halusi enemmän peittävyyttä. Ylläolevissa kuvissa minulla on iholla ainoastaan Teint Idole Ultra Cushion tuotetta eikä lainkaan mitään muuta meikkiä.

Molemmat tuotteet sopivat minulle loistavasti ja uskon, että aion jatkossa käyttää Miracle Cushionia päiväsaikaan ja hyödyntää uutta Teint Idole Ultra Cushionia iltamenoissa sekä silloin kun tiedän päivästä tulevan ekstra pitkä. Näissä tuotteissa parasta on minusta ihon kaunis hehku, kätevyys sekä meikin nopeus. Täydellinen tuote kaikille, ketkä ovat koko ajan menossa.

//My old makeup favorite, the Lancôme Miracle Cushion has gotten a follower! The new Teint Idole Ultra Cushion has more coverage and wears a bit longer than the super natural Miracle Cushion. 

I came familiar with the Miracle Cushion over 1,5 years ago when I was in Cape Town shooting with Nelly.com. The product was my life saver, because we had to be camera ready 24/7 and the makeup was so quick to apply and lasted fresh looking all day long. For this reason I was excited to test out the new Lancôme Cushion product and was happy to notice the new elements of this product. Compared to the Miracle Cushion's super natural look, the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion gives you more coverage and the finish is velvety smooth. It's also a bit quicker to apply since you only need a few taps on the skin. 

I like both products a lot and I think I'm going to continue to wear the Miracle Cushion during day time (since it's so natural and light) and than use the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion during events, evenings etc. I remember some people saying that they wanted a bit more coverage than the Miracle Cushion, so this is definitely for you now! It comes in 6 different shades and every shade has a refill package that's a bit cheaper. Test it out!//

Kokeilin keväällä ensimmäistä kertaa contouring meikkiä ja olen siitä saakka ollut ihan koukussa siihen. Vaikka olenkin periaatteessa jäljitellyt tätä samaa tekniikkaa aina ennen aurinkopuuterilla ja valokynällä, niin kyllä kaikilla contouring tuotteilla saa vaan tehokkaamin niitä eroja aikaiseksi! Olenkin innostunut testaamaan vähän erilaisia valo/varjostuspaletteja tässä viime aikoina ja tässä nyt L'Oréal Paris perheen uutukainen Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette, joka saa minulta heti pisteitä kätevyydestä ja hyvistä sävyistä.

Tuotetta on saatavilla joko light/medium tai medium/dark sävyissä. Itselleni näin kesällä tuo medium/dark toimii parhaiten ja antaa muotoilun lisäksi ihanan päivettyneen ilmeen, kuten vertailukuvasta huomaa. Paletin mukana tulee myös todella kätevät ohjeet eri kasvomallien varjostukseen ja korostukseen. Itselläni on ovaalin muotoiset kasvot, joten varjostukset tulevat minulla poskipäiden alle, hiusrajaan, nenän sivuille sekä leaun alle. Jos sinulla on esimerkiksi pyöreän malliset kasvot, niin varjostukset tulevat ainoastaan kasvojen sivuille sekä nenään! Kaikki lukee onneksi todella selkeästi paletin ohjeissa, joten kuka tahansa voi hyödyntää tätä juuri itselleen ja omille kasvoilleen sopivalla tavalla. 

Eniten yllätyin siitä, miten luonnollinen lopputuloksesta tulee, vaikka varjostuksia laittaisi aluksi ihan runsaalla kädellä. Oikeastaan mitä vahvemmat varjot sitä parempi lopputulos, kunhan häivytyksen tekee huolellisesti. Tämä on ehkä helpointa demonstroida videon muodossa, joten näytän teille seuraavassa postauksessa vielä nopeasti "livenä", miten rajojen häivytys toimii ja miten helppoa palettia on hyödyntää!

//I've been experimenting with contour makeup since last spring and have totally fell in love with it! It makes the face look so much slimmer than normal and it simply brings out the best features of the face. I now tested the L'Oréal Paris newbie, Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette, and I have to say, it's one of the most easiest contouring palettes I've tried so far. Just 2 steps (highlight and contour) and it's all you need. The palette comes in 2 shades light/medium and medium/dark. I personally prefer the medium/dark now when it's summer time. It gives me a super nice sun kissed look like you can see in the before and after photos.

In the palette you also get super great instructions on how to contour YOUR features. I have an oval shaped face so I need to contour under my cheekbones, nose, in the hair line and underneath my chin. For example if you have a round shaped face than you need to only contour the sides of your face and nose. All different face shapes are instructed in the palette, so this is easy to use for everyone. 

I was also surprised in how natural the outcome is even if you contour pretty heavily. Actually the more you contour the stronger the outcome is of course. You just have to be precise with the blending to make it look natural. I think this is easier to demonstrate in video, so I'll do a quick live tutorial for you guys from this!//
